Gieves & Hawkes Safari/Field Jacket Chocolate Brown Linen 42”R

A beautiful field jacket by the world renowned Savile Row tailors, Gieves & Hawkes. This is from their ready to wear collection which is incredibly high quality.

The jacket is cut from a substantial 100% linen in a chocolate brown colour. It is unlined in the body but is lined in the sleeves and fused down the front so it makes for a perfect Autumn and Spring jacket.

The jacket has large bellows and pleated pockets with a buttoned flap, and matching bellows front chest pockets higher up. It has a metal two-way zip close with a button placket and real horn buttons used throughout. The cuffs are a shirt style cuff with a two button adjustment and the jacket has a draw cord at the waist if needed. The collar can be stood up and it has a nice stitch detail on the underside of the collar. The is an inside breast pocket on the left side. The back has short side vents which adds to movement when you are wearing the jacket.

The size is 42"R with some further measurements below. It will fit 42"R-44"L.

The condition is excellent, it appears to have been worn only a couple of times. It comes with a replacement button in a G&H pouch.
