Wells Savile Row Bespoke 1999 Tweed Sports Jacket 44”L

For sale is a wonderful Savile Row Bespoke tweed sports jacket. Made in 1999 by Wells bespoke tailors, this is an exceptional piece.

It's cut from a classic herringbone tweed with a ground of khaki/bronze and a sublet mid-scale green and navy windowpane check.

It has a three button front close with four button functional cuffs and blonde real horn buttons used throughout. A beautiful shape notch lapel with a functional buttonhole and a lovely fabric turn back on the under collar showing it's handmade. The pockets are slanted flapped and jetted and it has a slanted breast pocket. The back is elegant with side vents and inside there is a breast pocket either side and a left side pen and lower cigarette pocket.

The jacket fits like a slightly big 44"L (approx 45" chest size) with further measurements below. It's worth noting that alterations can be made easily as it's handmade.

Sleeve length from shoulder roll to cuff- 25.5"

Back length from neck seam to hem- 33.5"

The condition is very good. It has had a little wear but it doesn't look its age. There are a couple of very minor marks on the fabric on the left side lapel and inside the right side of the jacket. There are some very small lining issues where the stitching has started coming undone, these aren't really a worry at all but can easily be re-stitched by an alterations person.
