P&J. Haggart of Aberfeldy Tweed Sports Jacket 44”L

A beautiful tweed sports jacket by the old Highland tailors, P&J. Haggart of Aberfeldy. P&J. Haggart were along with Campbells of Beauly, regarded as one of the finest Highland outfitters in Scotland. Unfortunately they closed the shop down many years ago but do still have a tweed mill, Glenlyon Tweed Mill.

This jacket is a true sporting jacket, cut from a mid-weight tweed in a classic country colour way of dark olive with a subtle tattersall check.

The jacket is cut with a three button front and a lovely notch lapel. It has leather buttons throughout which is traditional for this style of jacket, these can easily be changed if not liked. It has straight flapped and jetted pockets and the back is elegant with side vents. The back also has an action-back, which is pleats at the shoulders allowing extra movement when out in the country, a nice touch.

Pit2pit- 23.5”

Waist 6” below pit- 22”

Sleeve length from shoulder roll to cuff- 26.5”

back length from neck seam to hem- 32”

The condition is excellent, it appears unworn.
